We have a product that is quite large. Made up of multiple services and applications. Today we set up our work as Projects in Jira and each has its own backlog. The desire is to consolidate all of the separate Jira projects (and backlogs) into one Jira project and call it a Product Backlog. Currently, each project has its own epics and components.
Has anyone been down this path before? If so, any tips or tricks to organize your issues in the Product backlog when consolidating from multiple separate projects/backlogs?
Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
PS - we create a board using filters to pull all of the issues into one view. However, we still have separate backlogs. And we want to move to setting up product releases in Jira and do reporting off of one project/backlog.
