Error while importing data to test JIRA 7.3.1

Hi,

I am importing data from my production to test environemnt in JIRA . I have SQL as database in Prod while PostgreSQL 9.6 in the test instance. I read several documents before the import and imported the backup sucessfully.

However my attachments did not work. So i again searched and read some posts where one of them said - i need to copy the attachments file first and then start the backup - is this true? Anyways, I did it again.

For attachments :

1. I created a symbolic link to the folder that has actual attachments(i copied the attachments manually here) and the symlink lies at JIRAsoftware home directory /data folder. This was created sucessfully with size 0.

However when i try to import the data in JIRA using "Restore system" i get the following error :

The attachment path  /home/user/jirasoftware-home/data/attachments  specified in the backup file is not valid.

What am I missing?
