In Project settings > Issue layout (Task and Sub-task) I can move any fields to different locations such as Description fields and Context fields. However, although I can move the Story Points field as well, it never appears on the screen.

Are Task and Sub-task the only types of issues in your project?
Is Story Points included in the Field Configuration for these issues?
Is Story Points included in the Screens associated with the Field Configurations?
To which screens are you referring; Create Issue or Edit Issue?
