After moving the issue to closed state EDIT option should not appear on the view issue screen

Hi, After moving the status to closed state , we want edit option to be in disable mode.

and we have followed the couple of steps. But still it is not working.

In workflow transition we set the property (jira.issue.editable  = false) but still not working. kindly help

 

Jira version - 7.3.1,8.2.2

A few tips on this, maybe one of it fixes the problem that the EDIT button still appears:

  • double check the spelling
  • make sure it is applied to a status explicitly - it won't work that way when applied to a transition
  • make sure the workflow is published after the change
