In our JSD project - we are seeing duplicated tickets and showing that they are being created by a user in JIRA. The history is completely blank and the user is not actually creating the ticket. It appears to be automatically happening - but we're not seeing any automation in our system that would be triggering a new ticket to create, randomly.
Thoughts?
Looks like this was caused by redundancy with having a mail handler setup and the mail configured directly to the project. The handler continued to push a small handful of tickets over and over. Matheus with Support suggested removing the handler - which solved the issue!

Hello Kyle,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
I saw that you created a ticket with our support related to the same question and they already investigating the issue, so to avoid any possible misunderstandings or miscommunication that may arise from discussing the same matter on two different platforms, let's focus on the ticket instead.
Once the ticket is resolved, feel free to share the resolution here to help other community members that may have the same issue.
Kind regards,
Angélica
