Please provide the https://marketplace.atlassian.com/ listing for "Jira Issue Updater" if it is listed in the marketplace.  From the listing, it will list out what env that the add-on supports - Cloud, Data Center.

If it is not, then it may not be suitable for JSM Cloud app.

I would recommend you to reach out to the JENKINS vendor for further support on your question.

Regardless of their response, I am more concern with their existing vulnerability mentioned on their webpage - "Credentials stored in plain text".  In my opinion, this is a serious security risk for plug-in users in general.
