Dear all,

is there a way to check the log of mails sent by Jira? I suspect that some responses to the Customer are not arriving correctly and I would like to understand if the problem is in the sending or in the receiving.

Not in cloud

After some reading that JSMC it looks ALOT like Jira Service Desk Cloud but heftier, and there IS logging in JSDC.

This is where JSDC email logging is located. Look for Email requests and there should be a log below your service email.
