For some users only, when they was looking for "Sandra XXXX" the display name was "SANDRA EST MORTE." (which mean "SANDRA IS DEAD.") instead of his real name.
At the Entra ID lvl and Exchange lvl, everything is fine on the DisplayName. Log are clean, no modification has been applied at theses lvl.
This appear only on some users computer.
Do you have any idea on how this is possible ?
Actually, the Display is back to the normale but we would like to understand how this issue happened ?
Hello, that's very interesting, I was at a customer's a few weeks ago to migrate. After everything was in the cloud, we had the same thing with one user. The user is of Russian descent and the user's name is difficult for Europeans to pronounce, so he spells his name differently in private. But in the company context, he always writes his real name.
After the migration, this user had an Atlassian account with his private name, although the account was created from Azure. I still don't know the reason for this and on which database this account is mapped.

On our side, we found the issue : It's nok linked to Jira but linked to the Language Translation of the browser used. Some name are automatically translate if the user enable the option.
Maybe it's the same kind of issue for you too.
