When making a transition visible in the customer portal, what is "set issue resolution to" referring to?
When an issue is resolved in Jira it has a resolution associated with it. The resolution could be something like done or won't do. When you expose a transition to the customer you are given the option to set the resolution. For majority of issues you will leave the resolution the same. If the transition is opening a resolved or closed issue you can use this setting to clear the resolution. If the transition is resolving or closing the issue you can set the resolution to done, won't do, etc. so it is properly resolved since the customer will not be able to set that in the portal when they transition the issue.
