We are trying to implement the JSD widget into our website, so that we can get our procedures in order and improve our support.
However we have our own KB that is quite detailed and we want to use it with the widget. My understanding is that this is not possible.
That is why we got Confluence cloud, but what we want is when a person clicks on the article in the widget to automatically redirect them to our KB's article. Is that possible?

When using the widget, customers can view articles only through the widget, it's not possible to configure to redirect them to the portal.
There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.
The workaround would be adding the customer portal link in the article, so if the customer clicks, they will be redirected to the portal.
Open the article in the customer portal, copy the URL, and add the link by editing the article in Confluence.
You can add, for example: "Viewing this article on the Widget? Click here to be redirected to our Portal."
