I came across Jira tickets and can see that ''//'' is being added as suffix to the reporter's email address. This used to work fine before and nothing has changed.
Any solution to resolve this?
This is resolved and it was an issue at Atlassian

This started appearing on our instance recently as well. We linked Azure to our Atlassian Guard about 3 months ago with all users imported weeks ago. We also use JSM Asset management which we have had for about 9 months. But this problem only showed up last week. So it doesn't sound like it's related to our Azure - Guard integration or Asset management as confirmed by Atlassian. I'm working with their support right now for a solution.

Hi @Bharat Kumar Bondalapati is your Jira site connected with an identity provider via Atlassian Guard? Or are these manually created/invited users?

@Bharat Kumar Bondalapati Please double check the settings and connection with your IdP in that case. I'm pretty sure the root cause is in that configuration somehow.

@Dave Mathijs Checked IDP settings and everything is confiogured correctly.
I also found this which I faced 3 to 4 days earlier: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Stop-auto-encoding-field-values-containing-as-mailto-links/qaq-p/2378643
This is exactly what's happening with us as well
