Why did Atlassian ruin the Request Type design screen?

Ok, little rant here...

 

Just went to set up a new Request Type and I see Atlassian have redesigned the screen where you create / edit a request type

 

By "resdesign" I mean "made infinitely less user friendly"

 

It's not as easy to add items to the screen or customise it. Where's my "Select all" option? Why are they now in field type/alphabetical order instead of the order in which they are added to the screen? Why do I have to open each item on the screen to make it mandatory etc? 

 

Come on Atlassian, please sort this screen out and make it user friendly again.
