When I inspect the code to see what the format of the default icons are within service desk, it shows me that they are SVG. When I upload a PNG is appears pixelated, so I want to upload SVG icons, but currently this doesn't seem to work. Is this a feature you're releasing soon?

Yes .. I had the same issue when customizing the Request Ticket Icons. Currently there is no option to upload SVG files.
There is an open issue reported for the Server edition, but one missing for cloud
