Where is the Legacy automation?

Niels Burez October 29, 2020

Where can I find the Legacy Automation after the new automation implementation?

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-desk-cloud/docs/what-is-legacy-automation/

I had plenty of automations in the "legacy automation" and not great that I have to recreate them with less functionality (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Desk-questions/Will-there-be-new-Features-in-the-Automation-for-Service-Desk/qaq-p/1517432 ) but not even having them as a reference on what those automations where doing is disrupting my company's operation.

Hi Niels,

here is what I see in my instance. Basically, both automations are now listed under “Automation page” accessible in the same sidebar location as the original JSD location. the old JSD Automation is renamed on that page as Legacy automation. And according to the banners there you will not need to do anything as Atlassian will take care of it. FWIW, I plan to at least take a snapshot of all legacy automations just in case and possibly migrate some Legacy over.

Hello Jack,

Thank you for your answer! Good to see that they are still there and active.
I had already tried multiple times to find them there but for some reason that "pane" is not showing or is removed after about 500 ms and immediately redirects to the new automation without having the ability to click on Legacy automation.

You can see it here on how it behaves : https://www.dropbox.com/s/23l5t564ofo1jlz/Screen%20Recording%202020-10-29%20at%2010.56.08.mov?dl=0

I guess that is a bug in the system  and shall report it as such. ( Tested with Safari and Chrome)

Again, much appreciated!

Kr,

Niels
