There appears to heave been another change to JSM Assets search whereby search by any attribute has vanished again.
There is now a list of attributes on the right but it doesn't replace the aspect of searching via "any" attibute - why on earth was this removed?
Hi Jeffrey,
The reason we have made this change is to accomodate the deprecation of the anyAttribute function in AQL (see the deprecation notice here). The old version of the search feature relied on this hence us needing to re-work the feature to remove that dependency.
I understand the "match any attribute" toggle was quite convenient. Unfortunately it is not a feature that we can provide acceptable performance for. By providing you the ability to select the particular attribute(s) that apply to your search, we can provide results significantly faster. This also provides the ability to be more specific when searching which is useful for many customers.
Could you explain a little about your use case and why the new version does not solve your problem?
Thanks!
Justin

Hi @ivan
Just to make sure I understand the problem. You are finding when you navigate away from the page and then return again, your previously selected attributes are not retained?

@Ivan Ivanchenko thanks. We'll be shipping an update in the short term to ensure previously selected options are retained.

Hi folks. The update mentioned above is now released! You will find your search selections for a schema saved even when navigating away or refreshing your browser. These will persist until you clear your browsers cache.
