What is the difference between the Insight App and Jira assets?

What is the difference between the Insight App and Jira Assets?  Is Assets a new name for the Insight app?  I am a bit confused and am tasked with coming up with an integration between Jira and Axonius.

Yes, Insight is now known as Assets, and here is the announcement about the name change earlier this year, https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management-articles/Coming-Soon-Insight-Changing-to-Assets/ba-p/2068056
