Hi,
I'd like to setup a workflow that allows a defined group to veto a ticket (change) for a certain time window.
Example: A change ticket for a disruptive deployment is created and a group of key users is to allow to veto it up to 24 hours before the scheduled start.
Any ideas/suggestions how to properly implement such a workflow?
Cheers,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Thanks so much for your question.
There is no facility to set up a “veto” list in Jira Service Desk Server, however you may be able to achieve a similar outcome by setting your approval settings on tickets to “all approvers” (instead of “at least one approver”) and have one person in the approvers list not approve.
Another work-around is to set up a workflow where in this group always has an option to decline the ticket irrespective of the workflow step the ticket is on; this could then take the ticket to the “declined” workflow status.
If this does not address your requirement please feel free to raise a feature request by creating a “Suggestion” ticket at https://jira.atlassian.com/
Thank you,
Sam
