You need to be sure that you don’t use the same email address for more than a single JSM project. If this were allowed to happen then conflicts with arise when creating tickets.
based on the error message that would be my guess. You should go into all other JSM projects and verify whether any projects use the email address you wish to use.
Thanks for the response. I only have one JSM project though. I can't find where I set the email.
