Unable to select a component

Hello JSM experts,

As a project admin, I am attempting to create new components for my project. However, when I enter a name (any name, including my own) in the component lead field, no search results appear. In contrast, the JSM admin can search and select the same user's name that I attempted to use.

Could there be access restrictions that prevent me from creating components? If yes, can the restriction be removed by the JSM admin?

Welcome to the community.  I believe this is caused by the Global Permissions at your site level "Browse users and groups" doesn't call out to the user group(s) that you are a member with.

You will need to work with your site admins to update the the global permission configuration listed above to resolve your issue by including the group that you are a member of it.
