I have been demoing Jira Service Management (fka JSD) for a few weeks. As such, I have created and deleted a bunch of different projects to get the feel for different templates and how the product works.
Now I'm ready to build my "forever project" for my Service Desk (hopefully using the ITSM template if I can find it).
My question is, how can I delete ALL the remnants of previous test projects. I mean all of the workflows and schemes, groups, and EVERYTHING related to a previous project and just start from nothing?
For production, I want to start with a clean slate.
The closest you can get would be to manually delete everything, one item at a time. This would leave you with some traces though, you wouldn't be able to reuse project keys for example.
There is a way to get a clean system though - get another cloud system and do nothing with it other than take a backup. If you then restore that backup into your main Cloud system, it will overwrite everything, even the remnants like project keys
I was given this information to totally reset everything.
