I have a question regarding sharing issues within JSD. My understanding if an issue is shared with you through the share button (not requested participant method), you need to have agent access and access to the project.
Seems like you can add any user by entering an email address or anyone from the dropdown menu.
The person then receives an email and can click on the link but won't be able to access it without the correct permission.
This just confuses the agents who think they can share with anyone.
Can I turn this off so that they can only use the 'request participant' method instead?

I'm afraid it is not possible to disable the option to share an issue in Jira Cloud. We understand this option can be misinterpreted when using Jira Service desk, so we created the following feature request to allow this option to be hidden/removed from the issue view:
Ability to disable share issue option
