We have our Service Desks connected to our team's scrum boards. We have automation that will create a scrum ticket if a new service desk ticket is created.
Problem: there doesn't seem to be a way to copy (literally or the link) of the attachment in the service desk ticket to the scrum story.
Anyone know of a way to accomplish this?
@Chris -
The only other way that I know of is to custom the WF in your JSD project - at JSD issue creation time, use post-function call to create the scrum ticket in your scrum project. In our env, we have the Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE) add-on, where we use one of the add-on build-in call to create the ticket where we can copy the attachment(s) to the new issue.
Here is the Marketplace link on this excellent add-on https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/292/jira-misc-workflow-extensions-jmwe?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview
Hope this helps.
