Hi.
We have an instance of Jira Software running and on the same host also Jira Servicedesk.
We want both apps to use their own hostname.
So that Jira Software is available at i.e. jira.domain.tld and Servicedesk at i.e. desk.domain.tld.
Is this possible? And if yes, how? :)
Thanks in advance,
Christian
You would need to run two separate Jira services to do this.
Jira, Jira Software and Jira Service Desk are all "applications" that run on a single server, which gives us a single service on a single "base url"
You could run your JSD and Software separately, in separate urls, but you will lose a lot of the shared functions and consolidated reporting, and need to think about how to most effectively (well, cheaply) run two independent Jiras.
If you are only looking for a friendly url for your service desk. check out . .
