Restrict bulk edit option in Assets but allow edit rights

Is it possible to restrict bulk editing rights in Assets, but still allow users to edit individual objects within the roles?

Based on my understanding that it is not possible to lockdown bulk edits right if he/she are granted with object level edit right already.
