Restrict Calendar and Triggering a reminder notification based on a due date of a task Edited

Hi. We have customers complete a service desk form to install a device on to the network for a temporary period. We restrict the install for up to 1 year before it needs to be removed or requested for an extension. The date field on the form has not limit as to how far out they'd like to choose their date

1. I'd like to restrict the calendar to offer no greater than one year out. (I have project level admin but not system admin so I think this may be available at a sys admin level)
2. Also, we generally complete and close the request within a month. Can a notification be sent out as a reminder to the client a week/month prior to the date they selected on the form, advising that the date has come due and that we will be disconnecting the device unless they request extension. This notification would go out to the client and all watchers who were part of the project.

I know there a products available in Marketplace but I'm hoping that's something that can be scripted as part of Project Automation whereby that field is referenced and a notification is triggered based on time reaching -1 week/month etc. Something like that.
