I'm trying to create a workflow with validations. To do it, I create a new Workflow using [System] Change's Issue Types.
I would like that the approver fill some fields before approve the Issue, blocking the Transition until the approver fill the filed.
I tried to do it creating a new Validator in the Approve Transation, but the Issue are moving to approved without the field filled. [1]
How can I do this?
Hi @Eduardo Oliveira , This JAC issue was closed as "Won't do". Unfortunately there is not explanation but the bottom line is that Validators are not 'honored' for customer transitions. I expect the issue is that they have not implemented a means of presenting screens to the user w/in the portal. JSDCLOUD-4007

Welcome to the community!
With Create on Transition for Jira Cloud, you can use the Conditioned validator and a Jira expression something like the following:
issue.customfield_10076 != null && issue.customfield_10080 != null
Note: for the above example, I have taken custom fields. You can use the same for system fields with their name like: issue.reporter, issue.priority etc
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Disclosure: I am the product manager for the app.
Thanks,
Nishanth T
