Request Type not Available for Email

tara.tremelling@cerence.com February 9, 2021

I am using the generic HR Question or Issue Request Type in the system.

It has Subject & Description fields, no Required Fields and no auto-populated values.

However, it doesn't appear in the available Request Types for an Email Request.

I only see the Email Request Type and our Request a Report or Data Pull Request Type.

I've read a bunch and tried a few things but still I'm missing something.

Hi tara.tremelling@cerence.com

I tested a bit around and tried to break things - but overall it is not a complicated thing, I could revert any configuration:

It works when both of them are listed - otherwise a red informational message tells the email channel will not work.

So, does it mean you are currently only offered the "emailed requests" request type?

Thank you very much. Yes I'm not sure. It's strange. In the end we went with the offered one in the end. Appreciated the info and assistance!

Hi tara.tremelling@cerence.com

Do you have any hidden fields in the 'request form'?

It sounds like you've done everything else right.

No hidden fields - strange right?

I'm trying to use the default Issue Type of Question for HR.
