Removal of project project from customer portal for all agents and customers.

A project Should be removed from the customer portal for all agents and customers. The project should exist in JIRA but not in the customer portal for anyone..!!

Objective:
The goal is to ensure that a specific Jira Service Management project is no longer visible or accessible in the customer portal by both agents and customers. The project should still exist in Jira, meaning it should be accessible internally for users with appropriate permissions, but it should not be listed or available in the customer-facing portal.

Example Scenario:
Imagine you have a project named "Internal Support" that is currently visible in the customer portal, allowing customers and agents to raise tickets. The requirement is to remove "Internal Support" from the customer portal, so it doesn't appear in the list of available projects, but still keeps it active for internal use, like tracking internal tasks or incidents that do not require customer interaction.

Hi @srinivas vadlamudi

I would have tested either of these options:

  1.  Remove the Browse Permission for the role "Service Project Customer - Portal Access.
  2. Remove users from the Service Desk Customer role on project settings > People
  3. Add restrictions on group level per request type. This will ensure that new requests can't be created but the customers can  still see their previously created requests.

best regards

Lisa
