I have a field called "users to notify" which is a custom field. If the custom field is not empty, make all of those users participants on the ticket.
I am getting a note each time that the user does not exist, but they do. I do not know what to do.

Please try to copy the value from the field like this:
Edit issue action -> click on the three dots and select Copy from...
Then select Trigger issue, Users to Notify, uncheck Add to existing values...
(I've used field Approvers instead of Users to Notify)
