We are currently looking at JSM as a potential replacement to our ITSM solution. We have a heap of automated processes in place currently, one of which is our off-boarding solution.
What this does is as follows;
If a 'contract end date' is entered in the customer record for the current day then the process is live. We pass parameters to AD via powershell which changes the password, removes some attributes, removes the groups, moves the myTHDHR.com user to a suspended OU, and adds in a specific O365 group.
A 'staff movements' ticket is created also that goes to the support team at the relevant location of the user.
Powershell outputs a text file to the server with what has happened, what groups are removed and such, and then it is written back to the customer record in our ITSM to be used as a log.
30 days after contract end date the user is disabled and moved to the disabled OU with the remaining groups removed.
Basically, I need to be able to do the same thing from JSM as part of an automated process other than the entry of the end date.
Is this automation, powershell / AD interactions possible from JSM?
