Hello,
We are beginning to use JSD to support external clients and would like to populate a field with the company the customer belongs to, even if they choose to log a private request. When a client logs a request that is shared with their organization, we can use the Organization field and everything we need is automatically attached to the ticket (Organization populated). However, when a request is logged as private, the Organization field is not populated. We are currently updating a custom field manually for private requests to indicate the customer company.
Is there any way to automatically populate a custom field ("Company Name") based on the organization a customer belongs to when the customer logs a private request? We do have Script Runner installed and based on some other similar questions, I believe we can use this, but I don't know enough about how the Organization field links to the individual customer to achieve this.
Has anyone faced this issue and implemented a solution they could share?
Thank you for any guidance you can provide!
