Outgoing Mail over Imap

Hi,

i facing following problem:

We want connect our Jira Service managment to our Exchange.

Works actually but we have the problem that send notifications are not stored in the sent items folder .Other topic is that when we dont use the anonymous relay , mails from automation for jira are not sended. 

I there antoher way to connect to Exchange , not using the anaonymous relay and store the mails in the sent-Items folder ?
