Notification for particular agents for a particular request type

Within a company project is possible to create an alert for a particular agent based on a request type and not notify the all the other agents within the project each time a ticket is created...also is it possible exclude the this individual from all other notification from any other request type in the project? please advise

Consider disabling create notifications and opt for using Automation
