I've added an additional email account to my Jira Service Desk project. Now I'm trying to set the default request type of this email account to a newly created request type. But in the dropdown menu are project generated types available only - like 'report a bug'. None of my request types are shown.

This is a common problem, but here is the solution.
Go to your request type, your Customer request form should have a description added to it.
You cant associate request type without description filed, every email has description sometimes empty but it's there.
