We have been using Jira boards and have staff defined and receiving email notifications. I have created a new project and added the same users to this project. When viewing the list of team members with access to the project all the name(alias) show but no email address is shown. These team members are not receiving email notifications from this new project.
Can the same usernames be used over multiple projects?
Is there a config within the project to allow notifications?
Notification settings are turned on in the project for reporter/assigned/and mentioned users
@hsantin Welcome to the Atlassian community
In JSM there are customer notifications and internal notifications. Both require that individuals have the correct permissions either as a customer or as an team member on the project. I am assuming that these individuals are team members on the project. This requires them to be added to the project and have the proper project role. You can use the notification helper as an admin to see what is missing and then go from their to correct the issue. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-jira-admin-helper/
