Multiple approvals on one issue

Hello community, I need your help with the following scenario. I have some requests in which 2 approvers are added, I need the request to advance only with the approval of one of those approvers, is the scenario understood?

  • Example: A ticket was generated in JSM for the approval of a staff expense, when that ticket was generated 2 approval requests were triggered to 2 different people (John and Jane), I need that when the ticket is approved by John or Jane, it transitions to the next status.

I hope you can help me, if you need more information I am at your disposal.

Greetings!

You can control the number of approvers needed if you go into the workflow, select the status that has the approval step on it and then Edit on the approval step:

Please note that you have to open the workflow in the old editor, the new one currently do not have access to the approval step.

Hi @Mikael Sandberg

Thanks for your help, that helped me a lot.
I have a question regarding the "Approver source" field, what should I select there?

It depends, the default is Jira field and the Approvers field. If you pick Affected services you have to create the service and set the approvers there and have the Affected services field on the request. Normally you only use the Affected services on changes and Incidents.
