Hello,
Iam new to Jira and the community, and would like to know if its possible to link or at least navigate from an issue in Jira to a confluence page.
So for example, lets say there is a new Issue that came in from the organisation BMW.
In Confluence we have a file that contains information and agreements with BMW.
We would like to link this file to all new issues that come in from the organisation BMW and the can be accessed from the issue/ticket screen in Jira.
Is there a way to automaticly assign the correct file to an issue in Jira, based on the organizations field?
I hope my question and picture are clear enough to understand what Im trying to convey.
Thanks, W.R.
PS. English is not my native language, please excuse all the erros.
@Winesh Ramsaran Hi Winesh, Im also in the process of learning Jira. But, I can suggest you some options
1. By directly linking confluence page in Jira ticket by clicking the drop down. Refer attachment
2. You can add the link of the confluence page as 'comment' . If you want to add it as a bulk, use a filter of your items by choosing organization name & then bulk edit the comment.
3. In the bottom of Confluence page if you add Jira links, it will automatically shown along with Jira tickets
