Jira Service Desk Fields: Locking for editing in Workflow

I am looking for a way to edit a Jira Custom Field in a Service Desk Screen so that the field cannot be edited/updated after a certain status is transitioned in the workflow.

Hi Crystal, I do not necessarily know of a way to lock a field itself.


You can however delete the field from the edit screen so users won't be able to edit the field, and add the custom field to your transition screens so that it can only be edited during the transitions you specify.
