My company uses Jira Service Desk and we just turned on the ability for our customers to Live Chat with us.
I assumed that customers that downloaded the Mobile app would see an option to start a chat right from Jira Mobile App.
Is that not correct?

Jira's mobile app is for agents, not for customers.
And we don't offer the live chat feature anywhere, not for agents nor customers.

We are an Atlassian Marketplace vendor and our Mobility for Jira offering includes an app for Service Desk/Management customers.
Our app currently doesn't support the Chat for Service Management app from Spartez (assuming this is what you are referring to) but we frequently add third-party vendor support.
