Jira/JSM Shift extension

Im looking for an extension that allows me to select work days for auto assigning. Does anyone know an extension like it? I would like to be able to select the days individuals work to be able to auto assign or not auto assign to a specific individual.

You might also be able to do this natively if you prefer (with some additional setup).

You could use Automation to...

  • Check created issues
  • Use IF/ELSE conditions, based on days (and times) an issue is created to then...
  • Assign the issues to users who are "on call", based on each combination

You can use the "Assign Issue" action to assign users from a defined list - and this can be random, balanced, or round robin.

As @Ste Wright suggested, third party add-ons may be able to achieve what you are asking.  However, you can setup Automation rules to customize the issues assignments, but we will need further information to offer our possible designs.

NOTE - Please also consider that once the automation rules are defined/setup, you will still need to adjust the criteria for those rules to incorporate the each agent's schedule changes manually.
