JSON Context in jira service management portal notifications

William Glover November 29, 2024

Dear community,

unfortunately, due to our mail server config blocking HTML script tags, Portal Notifications to users in our domain always see a ldjson block at the start of any portal notification (see screenshot).

How can I configure Jira Service Management to not send these schema.org microdata json blocks along with portal notifications? Is there any way to suppress this feature, other than switching to plaintext mails in my user profile?

Kind regards

William

Hi @William Glover

The Mail is the results of a Customer Notification. These can be customized from the "Customer notifications" under Project settings.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/change-the-look-and-feel-of-customer-notifications/

Do let us know how it goes.

Can you help me find where I can suppress the json block at the top of the message there?

It is not contained in the template for the notification mail, the template starts with the "reply above this line". I need to modify the portion above that.
