Hi,
I am trying to set up a JQL query within a webhook so that when a new ticket is logged and a certain field is selected it will send a message.
Flow:
- Within the self service portal a user selects log a new hardware ticket
- Then from there click on the drop down menu select and select "I need a new keyboard"
- When I need a new keyboard" is selected and the ticket logged, this triggers a automation to send this information via a Webhook to a Slack channel.
Is that possible? Or is there an example on how to do this somewhere?
Thanks :)
Hi @leon.weavers ,
you can do that with a simple Automation rule, natively available for Jira cloud standard plans:
You can find info about automation rules here, and they have a whole library of examples to explore.
Should you have trouble, let us know!
