Hi
Our service desk is considering implementing Service Management and the question is how to handle anonymous users.
Our organisation is offering IT services to students and parents. Most of service requestis comes from outside organisation that do not have the account in our system.
Service Managemnet allows to create public users - but this means we will get thousands of users. Do we have to pay for them, if they only use Service Management? Is it same with DataCenter and with Cloud version?
And - any hints to articles are welcomed
Thanks
Toomas Adson
Heya @Toomas Adson ,
So in terms of the question for if those users / customers in the service desk project consume licenses, then they would not as it's only agents who take up licenses! You can refer to this article which details what the users and roles are and how they directly impact licenses: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-are-user-types-and-roles/
If you have any other questions please let me know! :)
Kind Regards,
Ashley Hudson
