We're building a 3LO app that leverages the JSM REST API to create service requests in JSM. We want to be able to support portals with varying customer permission configurations, but I'm hard pressed to figure out a way to allow customers to create service requests when the global Customers can access and send requests from the portal without logging in setting is enabled and the project customer permissions are set to Anyone on the web (without logging in) (aka login free portals).
Even though the portal does not require authentication to view request types and create service requests via the web, the REST API still requires valid auth when targeting projects with that configuration.
I'm just wondering if there is something I am missing and it is actually possible by this or another means, or is it just not possible via an API due to potential misuse?
