Is there a way to filter SLA simply based on request type?

Yuri Konratev September 14, 2020

I don't get why this is so hard to figure out but is this possible? I see people talking about using the field "Customer Request Type" but if I try that I get a permission error.

Thanks

Hi @Yuri Konratev ,

If you're talking about adding an SLA Goal based on request type how about adding a JQL condition in the Issues part of the SLA configuration?

Maybe you can try using "Request type" instead of "Customer Request Type".

However, if you meant searching among SLAs based on the customer request types, this is not available in Jira out of the box.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Gökçe

hm I'm positive I was trying that before when creating a new Metric but if I edit the existing metric this actually works. Thanks!

Yay! I'm glad this worked. :)

Could you accept my answer (and yours maybe) as accepted answer so other users will see that there is a solution?

Cheers,

Gökçe
