Is there a limitation on reading records from Insight?

Gaurav Gupta June 7, 2021

Hello,

We have a use case where we need to read multiple (over 500) records from Insight into a JSM dropdown. The custom field created for this shows just the top 50 records (sorted in ascending/ alphabetical order).

If there is a limitation as such on the count of records who h can be read and displayed, need to check and confirm.

Also, kindly provide suggestions to overcome this.

Thanks

Gaurav

Hello,

The scenario where some records are showing up on the Issue Create screen and are not found even with the search functionality is a bug and is being tracked via JSDCLOUD-9911.

The records are available on the user portal and can be leveraged.

Thanks

Gaurav

Hi Gaurav,

We face the same issue.  To ensure that users understand, we add a description to the customfield, where we tell them to search for the object by typing on the "magnifying glass" or start typing the name of the object.

Hello Fabian,

Thanks for the response.

I have already tried that but the challenge is, it does not return any records even when typing the name of the object. It is just recognizing the top 50 records.

Thanks

Gaurav
