Is it possible to restrict the customer to sign up in the Customer Portal? Admin Approval is required?
Currently, the admin approval that we had is for agents only when they successfully signed up to Atlassian. How about those customers who are only allowed in the Customer Portal only and need to check by admin before approving it?
Please see the image below for example approval of agents before they got access to Jira. I hope those customers who registered have also restrictions and needed like this admin approval first before they get their access.
Hi @Mela ,
Customers who sign up to the customer portal won't show up in the Access requests, but rather in the setting you see on the left hand side: "Portal customers" under Jira Service Management. Customers don't have product access like agents or other users who require licenses.
Check out this documentation for the different ways you can manage customers creating accounts and controlling permissions: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-and-manage-portal-access/
In any case, customers will not use licenses.
