Hi - I feel like a real idiot here as this step seems to be completely glossed over in the jira guides making me feel like it must be obvious, 3 hrs later, still stuck so please any help!
I am using insights to manage a product made up of several configuration items. To make changes to the configuration items (ie change an item out for a new one) an issue is raised. When an issue is raised I want to have an automation where the issue reporter can hit the manual automation (as required) to make the product, represented as an object, unserviceable through changing an attribute called "serviceable".
I have added a manually triggered automation to the global list then selected "edit object attributes" and have tried several different options but nothing is working. Latest attempt was:
{{object.Serviceable.Action Needed}}
How does the automation know which object I want to change for instance?! Really frustrated here :(
Hi Chris,
Let us understand your use case a bit more:
1- How does the requester define the change scope?
2- Do you have an Insight custom field in the Issue?
Thanks.
