Hi, is the dependent dropdown can be import instead of manually insert?

This is because I have thousands of lines.

Any help please!

Hi @Lim Xin Yen ,

Welcome to the community.

What exactly do you mean with "Dependent Dropdown" ? Are you talking about issue links ?

Best regards,

Kris

Hey @Kris Dewachter , I'm experiencing the same thing as @Lim Xin Yen . The depdendent dropdown seems to be a new feature, where you can make a selection and then a second selection dropdown appears, based on the first item you chose. See this example where I chose "Frequency" as Quarterly, bringing me a second dropdown still within the same field, where I select which quarterly iteration I am on.

I am in the same boat where we have hundreds of these to import via CSV. I found when doing an export of issues with a dependent dropdown already populated, the export uses one column with the name of the field and "->" to signify a dependent dropdown selection.

So with the above example, if I have one issue where I've selected "Monthly" and left the dependent dropdown blank, and a second issue where I select "Monthly" and then "2/4", those would be listed on the export with following values:

issue #1: monthly
issue #2: monthly -> 2/4

I tried duplicating this in my import CSV and it simply imports the first value, where both issues above would create with the same value "monthly" in the field, instead of the second issue having the dependent dropdown choice selected.

Do you happen to have any suggestions based on this add'l context? Thank youSnag_48b6c26b.png
