How to manage user's permissions massively?

Lucas Diógenes Miranda July 8, 2021

Hello everyone,

We have a problema heve. We need to deactivate a few user's access to certain products. For example:

User 1 has access to Confluence and Service Desk, but User 1 didn't access the confluence in the past 30 days. I have a list with all users that fits this same criteria.

Now here is the question. How can I deactivate all Confluence access of this list of users without deativating the other produtcs? Same is valid for users not accessing the Service Desk but accessing Confluece and valid as well for users not using both.

Thank you,

Lucas.

The application access is controlled by groups, but there is no option to do this bulk change from admin.atlassian.com unless you remove the group from that the application access. You can use the REST API to remove users in bulk from specific groups. Have a look at Remove user from group for examples.
